Technical Review. Independent Inspection. Documentation Control.
Quality coordination is a core part of every sourcing engagement. We support technical review, inspection planning, third-party inspection coordination and documentation review — from order placement through to dispatch.
Quality as a Process, Not a Certificate
We do not rely on a supplier's quality certificate as the sole assurance of conformance. Quality is built into the sourcing process — through supplier selection, clear purchase order requirements, production monitoring, independent inspection and documentation review at every stage.
QUALITY FLOW
How Quality is Managed Across the Sourcing Cycle
Supplier Capability Assessment
Before recommending a manufacturer, we assess their process capability, equipment, quality systems and relevant certifications for the specific product requirement.
Inspection Plan Agreement
We agree the inspection and test plan (ITP) with the buyer and manufacturer before order placement — defining hold points, witness points, review points and documentation requirements.
Raw Material Verification
We coordinate review of mill test certificates and material traceability records for incoming raw materials before forging or machining commences.
In-Process Inspection
We coordinate in-process inspection at defined hold and witness points — dimensional checks, heat treatment records, non-destructive testing (UT, MT, PT, RT) as required.
Final Dimensional & Visual Inspection
Final dimensional inspection against drawing requirements, visual inspection for surface condition and marking verification before dispatch clearance.
Test Certificate Review
Review of all test certificates — material test reports (MTR), heat treatment records, NDE reports, hydrostatic test certificates and dimensional inspection reports.
Documentation Package Review
Complete documentation package review before dispatch — ensuring all required certificates, reports and records are present, legible and correctly referenced.
Dispatch Clearance
Formal dispatch clearance is issued only after inspection completion and documentation review — preventing premature shipment of non-conforming or incompletely documented goods.
MATERIAL TESTING
NDT INSPECTION
DIMENSIONAL MEASUREMENT
INSPECTION TYPES
Inspection & Testing Coordinated
Dimensional Inspection
Verification of all critical dimensions against approved drawings — using calibrated instruments and documented in dimensional inspection reports.
Visual Inspection
Surface condition, marking, identification and workmanship inspection against applicable standards and purchase order requirements.
Ultrasonic Testing (UT)
Volumetric inspection of forgings for internal defects — to ASTM A388, EN 10228-3 or equivalent standards as specified.
Magnetic Particle Testing (MT)
Surface and near-surface defect detection on ferromagnetic materials — to ASTM E709, EN 10228-1 or equivalent.
Liquid Penetrant Testing (PT)
Surface defect detection on non-ferromagnetic materials — to ASTM E165, EN 10228-2 or equivalent.
Hardness Testing
Brinell, Rockwell or Vickers hardness verification after heat treatment — to confirm mechanical property compliance.
Hydrostatic Testing
Pressure testing of valve assemblies and pressure-containing components to the specified test pressure and duration.
Chemical & Mechanical Testing
Review of mill test certificates and, where required, independent laboratory verification of chemical composition and mechanical properties.
DOCUMENTATION
Documentation We Review Before Dispatch
Material Test Reports (MTR)
Chemical composition and mechanical properties from the steel mill or forge shop.
Heat Treatment Records
Time-temperature charts and furnace calibration certificates for normalising, quenching, tempering or stress relieving.
NDE Reports
UT, MT, PT and RT reports with operator qualifications and equipment calibration records.
Dimensional Inspection Reports
Dimensional records against approved drawings, signed by the inspector.
Hydrostatic Test Certificates
Test pressure, duration and result for pressure-containing components.
Third-Party Inspection Reports
TPI agency reports covering all inspection activities and final release note.
Packing & Marking Records
Packing list, marking verification and preservation records for export consignments.
Declaration of Conformance
Manufacturer's declaration of conformance to purchase order, specification and applicable standards.
Third-Party Inspection
We coordinate with internationally recognised third-party inspection agencies — including Bureau Veritas, SGS, TÜV, Lloyds Register and others — as specified by the buyer or required by the project. Buyer-nominated inspectors are equally accommodated.
